HR Alert for Missing and Expired Records
Alert options have been added to allow for notification of employees with Missing or Expired Records.
This feature allows users to set an alert triggering a list of employees that have missing or expired medical records, licenses, or certifications.
Clients would set up the alert to email specific managers when the certification for employees that require a certification is missing or expired (ex: Vaccines for all employees, TB Tests for Healthcare workers, Driver’s Licenses for drivers…) Customizable settings for any record type would include who will receive the report, how often, and about which category of employees.

Based on client feedback, a new tag feature has been implemented allowing tags to be added to an employee’s profile on the fly. This can be used to quickly tag multiple employees within a category and then filter employee lists and reports by those tags.
Flexible Employee Import
This new import feature allows for flexible configuration of an employee import file. This can be used for import of new hires or bulk updates to existing employees. Clients would utilize this to map existing files to import to fields in Empeon. In addition to new hire imports, bulk updates can be used for items like rate of pay or any employee info fields.
Import customization can be found under Company > Customize > Employee Import
Customize the Employee List
Per client request, Column Chooser has been added to the People listing. This allows users to customize which columns they will see in the employee listing and in which order.
The following fields are now available:
- First name
- Middle name
- Last name
- Prior last name
- Clock number
- Hire date
- Adj seniority date
- Employee type
- Birth Date
- All address fields
- All Cost centers
- All cost center descriptions
- Managed by
- Cell phone
- Home phone
- Email address
- Mail stop
- Filing form
Go to Card
Within an employee’s profile, the Go to option is now available to search and navigate between cards. This allows for quick access to any of an employee’s cards. Ctrl + G will access this command from any employee card as well.
Keyboard Navigation in Employee Profile navigator list
Due to client feedback, keyboard navigation has been added to the employee profile navigator list. This allows users to switch between employees using the up and down arrows and using the enter key to select an employee to view.
Company ID and Check Date/Preprocess Number has been added to the file name for reports or preprocess verification grids that are exported to excel, CSV or FTP.
Home Page Company Filter
The home page company filter has been updated to allow for view of Active companies only.
Pay History Updates
- The Pay History view in the employee profile has been updated to include pay period start date and pay period end date columns.
- Pay History filters have been updated to allow for filtering by deduction codes.
Performance improvements have been made to increase the speed of the system while processing payroll.
- Fixed: Fixed a problem which sometimes caused the exporting of Live Reports to take a very long time.
- Fixed: When exporting or emailing a report, all column filters will be maintained.
- Fixed: Scheduled Report Frequency: Last Payroll of the Quarter is now working properly.
- Fixed: When cloning reports to other companies, all recipient and FTP destination settings will be cleared.
- Fixed: Changing a report from scheduled to on-demand will remove all schedule settings.
